Fujimo Delivers Beer!
Fujimo Says: BAD seal... BAD!
Cornelius kegs are a little bitchy when it comes to their seals. Each corny comes with a history of use, and of course abuse. So, each of the little seals, new or not, adjusts a little under pressure. Mind as well take the poppit release valve out and find if it's seated properly.
Now i sit and wait for the boiled water to cool down, and i be transferring the beer.
I'll hookup the hose for the tap to the spigot and drain the sucker into the clean corny.
I got the CO2...
From a welding supply store in Ybor, no problem. Rent the tank. Swap and fill technique. This insures I never have to get a tank inspected (which costs as much as the tank..)
Additionally, I got the hose clamps from Sheaffer Boats... which are #4 ss.

I hook up the hoses and fill the empty keg, and this brown shit flies through the hose. Chunky brown shit!
I guess old coke or something.
So now i gotttasterilize, and then get the fermenter out and transfer the beer in, pressurize and cool it. And of course get ready for the next beering.

CO2
found a supplier, tentatively... ben says you sometimes have to wait for the guy behind the counter to get to ya... will do that routine hopefully in moments.
From the Fermentor to the Keg
All the bits and pieces are together. Of course, some don't fit, especially hose clamps and nipples, and the hose diameters.
So off to home depot or Sheaffer boats to get the ss hose clamps. #4 should do the trick. The nipple for the flange and tap is very small. even after wrapping in plumbers tape, it still is a stretch. CAn't wait to test it under load (pow).
Finding a co2 supplier... close to home...
maybe i'll experiment with different hose diameters, try to match the nipples...
stoopid nipples...
